‘No-holds-barred’ weekly current affairs show launched by Made in Bristol TV
TV station Made in Bristol is this evening launching a current affairs talk show The Week with Steve Le Fevre.
It will be broadcast across the national Made Television network and will feature a ‘Made TV News’ segment with key stories from across the UK, alongside debates.
Made Television said the show’s host – award-winning TV and radio presenter, writer and producer Steve Le Fevre, pictured – will “challenge and charm guests with his wit and no-holds-barred interview style”.
Steve said: “I’m really looking forward to discussing the big issues, from what our MPs have been up to, to those ‘eyebrow-raising’ stories that have got our Made TV cities talking, whilst also eliciting debate with some truly interesting guests.
“The show will be the ultimate weekly review on what current affairs topics matter to our local communities, towns and cities.”
In the first episode, starting at 8pm this evening, Steve will discuss how the UK’s regions are making great TV and films. Joining him in the studio will be actress, scriptwriter and director Kay Mellor OBE, best known for her TV programmes such as Band of Gold, In The Club and The Syndicate.
The programme joins a series of other recent additions to Made TV’s schedule, including nightly magazine show The Big Daily and dating reality series Game of Attraction.
Made in Bristol, which went live in 2014, is part of the Made Television stable of local TV stations which include Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool, North Wales, Teesside, Tyne & Wear.
It is available on Freeview channel 8, Virgin Media 159 and Sky 117.
